The
history of Cortaflex |
|
|
|
Cortaflex was invented, and produced by an American called
Bruce Snipes. Bruce, a nutritionist, founded a company 28
years ago called Horse Health Products which made Red Cell,
now owned by Farnham Companies Inc and is well known and respected
in the international equestrian world.
Bruce Snipes has spent the last forty years bringing benefit
to horses, dogs, cats and people, by producing mould breaking
natural products, including pioneering the introduction of
electrolytes and biotin for horses. Bruce first formulated
a liquid product for horses and dogs, containing Chondroitin
Sulphate and a complex array of highly efficient Glucosamine-like
amino-saccharides. The reports back from satisfied customers
was staggering. Bruce himself suffered terribly from arthritis
in his hands and was taking powerful anti- inflammotary drugs
and painkillers which were affecting his stomach. Consequently
he was finding it difficult to play his favourite sport -
golf.
So he formulated a special version for himself and got a
company in North Carolina which specialises in manufacturing
nutritional supplements for humans to make the formula for
him. Cortaflex achieved the leading postion in assisting joint
mobility, in both the United States and the United Kingdom,
within 3 years. This has been regularly confirmed and the
product has proved highly successful in double blind studies
both in the United Kingdom and in the USA. The most recent
of these, conducted by the College of Veterinary Medicine
at Michigan State University, proved the effectiveness of
Cortaflex in significantly improving joint mobility within
2 weeks. Additionally Cortaflex has been awarded the accolade
of "Product of the Year" by the premier independent
testing magazine in the USA - Horse Journal - who also considered
Buteless (not Phenylbutazone) to be the most highly effective
product in its field.
Bruce was soon back playing golf again.
